  • Gather the muslin cloth and squeeze out excess water from the curds. Hang the muslin cloth for about 30 minutes to drain excess water.
  • After 30 minutes, transfer the drained curds to a plate and knead them well until smooth and soft.
  • Divide the kneaded curds into small equal-sized portions and roll them between your palms to form smooth balls. Flatten the balls slightly to form disc-shaped dumplings.

Step 2: Prepare the Sugar Syrup

  • In a wide pan, bring water to a boil.
  • Add sugar to the boiling water and stir until it dissolves completely.
  • Gently drop the prepared cottage cheese dumplings into the boiling sugar syrup.
  • Cover the pan with a lid and let the dumplings cook for 15-20 minutes on medium heat, allowing them to puff up and become soft.
