- 500-700 g chicken ,bone-in pieces
- 2 tablespoons oil or butter
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 carrots peeled and sliced
- 2 potatoes peeled and diced
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1 cup green beans chopped
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup Cornfloor (optional, for thickening)
- Fresh parsley for garnish

Brown the Chicken:
- In a large pot, heat oil or butter over medium heat. Brown the chicken pieces on all sides. Remove and set aside
